Forma requested us to design a low budget catalogue, as new designs are to be added each year. In the process we re-designed the whole identity, ranging from the website to the stationary and the adverts. Forma is about simplicity and reliability, with the right feel for proportions and aesthetics. It is also a 100% New Zealand made company. Therefore black, being New Zealand’s ‘national’ colour, was used as the main feature for the identity. It was accompanied by strong typography. The concept for the stylish ad shoots was colorful furniture standing out in a black environment. The new identity made Forma stand out among competitors.
