The Houthoff’s Christmasparty is the yearly occasion where all employees of Houthoff Buruma come together. In 2010, the target was to draw a maximum possible number of employees to the event. DoubleMatured was approached to envisage a concept and enthuse the target audience. A winter landscape, by 17th century painter Hendrik Avercamp, formed the basis of the communicative items. The digital ‘Save-the-date’ and the invitation sparked the attention. The landscape was altered using comical elements taken from the world of Houthoff Buruma and printed on a place mat.
