The request for the 2010 edition was to give Christiaan Huygens a prominent place in the design. Consequently, the new logo carried his name. The contour of his portrait is also part of the campaign imagery. In the 2010 campaign, several Huygens inventions are incorporated in the portrait. The Huygens’ portrait will be filled in differently each year... Are you smart enough?
Joris Smidt and Sun Jung Hwang collaborated on this project in 2009 while they were in permanent employment at Ontwerpwerk bv, Den Haag.
