The Raw Materials Group in Sweden needed a campaign to raise awareness on the importance and impact of the recycling of electric and electronic scrap in Ghana. This was part of a study on climate change funded by the Nordic Development Fund. Together with Reinhardt Smit and Thijs van Iersel, DoubleMatured took on this challenge and created the campaign.
The campaign includes a website and an animation aimed at the general public of Ghana. E-Scrap Man tells the story of recycling in an African context with a design that gives the viewer an authentic African feel. Responsible Recycling, It’s Your Choice!
