On March 5th 2015 C&A Heerlen reopened its doors after a year of reconstruction. What did the shoppers encounter when they entered the renovated store? Not only did they encounter the new spring collection and shiny new walls, but a remarkable series of graphic panels designed by DoubleMatured also complemented the new surroundings. C&A wanted to break up the huge space of the store into smaller parts, dress them up and give them character. DoubleMatured succeeded in doing so by designing colourful panels inspired by the rich local history of mining.
