3,5 jaar bouwen aan 8000m2 boot. Johan Huibers timmert en spijkert de Arc van Noach in elkaar naar ware grootte. Indrukwekkend om te zien, het is namelijk écht een enorm gevaarte!

Het foxenmeer in Zweden grenst aan Noorwegen en strekt zich uit over ca. 70 km. Het water bevat een schat aan leven en bossen groeien er tot aan de waterlijn. De oever, zuidwestelijk van het meer, herbergt een uniek stilleven.
Ca. 600 auto’s daterend van 1910 tot ca 1970 liggen verscholen tussen mos, rotsen en dennebomen. Ooit een uit de hand gelopen hobby van twee plaatselijke broers nu een surrealistisch schouwspel you must see.

Start vrijdagavond 12 augustus 21:00 uur te Bornem, België, 10.000 deelnemers! Een op z'n minst heftige wandeltocht van 100 km aan één stuk. Niks slapen, slechts 15 stops voor een snack of een kop koffie.
Geheel inclusief 4 blaren, 5.000 afvallers, bakken regen én een tussentijds glas palm en duvel (tja, je loopt er toch langs) werd de finish op zaterdag 13 augustus om 18:30 een feit! 21 uur wandelen..waarom? Omdat sommige mensen wel van een uitdaging houden!

What more we can do with our roundabouts... The Leiden artist Merijn Tinga created the Trafficosaurus Luminoso, a ‘dinosaur’ made out of traffic lights. He placed a whole family at a roundabout near the National Museum of Natural History in Leiden. People can vote for it to stay or to go. We say: STAY!

On my last visit to London I went to the Gaugain exhibtion in the Tate Modern. I recommand it to everyone who's in for some good art. As it's one of those exhibitions that only comes up once every few years.
The exhibition takes a fresh look at the work of Paul Gaugain (1848-1903) by focusing on myth, storytelling and the construction of narrative in his life and art. Eleven rooms filled with paintings and other interesting information about an artist who argued that art should go beyond material appearances.
